Planting
Once the layout of the garden or site has been finalised, the plant specie selection can be determined and planting plan created.
Plant Selection
Choosing which plants to use can be overwhelming. The first step is to study the site and location to understand which planting beds are in the shade and which are in full sun.
Following this, plant species can be selected based on their size, form, pattern, texture and color. Placement and scaling of the plants are the final step. ensuring plants with similar water, sun and soil requirements are appropriately grouped together.

Palettes & Schedules
A plant palette and schedule are developed alongside a planting plan. This allows the client to visually understand the planting design for the project.
The plant schedule is a legend or key in a table format that can be used to identify the various symbols on the planting plan. Information that is typically shown includes: common name, botanical name, total quantity, installation size, mature size and price.
